DAM HOTEL LARA

The location of this hotel is great if you don't mind using bus to get to the city centre (was not a problem for me). But there are lots of places (restaurants and cafes) to visit in Lara itself and the sea is a 5-minute walk from the hotel (not the beach). Breakfast was great with many things to choose from and the staff was very welcoming and helpful.

This hotel is central to most things, ie shops, restaurants, bars and walkway by the sea and the staff are available and happy to inform the best mode of transport to get anywhere. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels supplied. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfasts is typically Turkish, which travellers should embrace and the choice is good from fresh cooked omelets, cereal, boiled eggs, meats, cheeses and an assortment of breads. Juices and tea and coffee are also available and replenished frequently. On arrival the staff offer beverages while they take luggage to the room. They are very welcoming and keen to assist in anyway. I would return on any further visits.

Big John (his weekend partner too) at the Front Desk is very nice. He would make you a coffee when you want. I requested like 4 times. Great location to walk to the endless coastal cliffs and Düden Falls. They also sell beer here. I bought mine at the little mom and pop shop around the corner.

A very pleasant overall experience. The hotel team was exceptionally wonderful and welcoming. Kind and responsive attitude to anything I needed. The location of the place was simply great. Easy walking distance- 5 minutes to all necessary facilities. The room was very clean with comfortable bed and amazing decor.

Great little hotel.. there in the middle of building a new pool.. so unfortunately there wasn't one there ,so we had to pay extra to use another pool up the road..
